Overview

One of the most practical evidence-based interventions to arise from the Positive Psychology movement is the practice of understanding and leveraging our key character strengths. Research tells us the benefits of using a strengths-based approach in the workplace include increased well-being and job satisfaction for individuals, and greater familiarity and connectedness for teams.

In this interactive webinar, you’ll learn how to:

– Harness your strengths in the workplace

– Utilise your core behaviors to improve leadership effectiveness, and shape career development

Pre Work

Participants will be required to complete a free Strengths Profile Starter Assessment before the webinar. This free Starter Profile will provide participants with their top-3 realised strengths, top-3 unrealised strengths, top-2 learned behaviours, and top weakness. Participants will be asked to share their results with the presenter before the webinar so de-identified results can be used for the purpose of learning during the webinar. Detailed instructions will be sent to participants after enrolment.

Goals

By the end of this workshop, participants will have a better understanding of their core behaviours and the impact these have on their energy levels and performance.

Skills/Knowledge

This introductory workshop provides participants with a high-level understanding of their signature strengths as well as some of the skills to harness them in the workplace. Benefits of attending this workshop include learning how to leverage strengths to manage energy levels, improve leadership effectiveness, and shape career development.
