In this 60 minute webinar, Sara will draw on her many years as an executive at IBM working globally and more recently as a company director across a range of sectors including technology, logistics, arts and disability. She will equip you with advice for:

-Leadership from the board and executive perspective
-Navigating career pathways.

Sara Watts is an experienced Non-Executive Director and Audit and Risk Committee Chair who combines international financial and operational acumen with more than twenty years of technology transformation experience. She currently serves on a number of boards, including Syrah Resources (mineral resources), Vision Australia (disability), BagTrans Group (palletized freight), Literacy Planet (EdTech), Uniting NSW.ACT (social services), and is a Trustee of the Australian Museum. Sara also Chairs the Audit and Risk Committee for the Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission.

Sara’s previous executive roles included interim CEO of City West Housing, Vice-Principal (Operations) of The University of Sydney, and executive director and Chief Financial Officer of IBM Australia/New Zealand.

Sara has a Bachelor of Science from The University of Sydney and an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. She is a Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of CPA Australia.
